Membership Process:

Prospective members must be proposed by a current member and a secondary member both in good standing. To begin the application process, the proposing and seconding members will write a letter in favor of the prospective member. These letters will be sent to the elective committee along with a completed membership application. Once the application and letters have been received and accepted, the name of the proposed will be posted in the lobby for a full one month cycle. Upon the conclusion of the posting period, all applicants in the current month will be invited to meet with the elective committee. The meeting is typically located in the "1889" Main Bar at 6:00pm on a weekday. The tone of this meeting is fairly casual, however, there is a required dress code of coat and tie for gentlemen. Ladies please refer to the club's dress code here. After meeting with the elective committee, you will be informed of your membership status by a staff member of the club with in a few weeks.
